To provide the best streaming experience, we made some changes to the device software needed to stream Discovery GO & TRVL GO. We recommend using the most up-to-date OS version for your device.
Find your supported device for more information and update steps:
Amazon Fire tablet
- Amazon Fire tablets (with Fire OS 6 or later)
Update: On your Amazon Fire tablet, open Settings, then choose Device Options > System Updates.
Amazon Fire TV
- Amazon Fire TV devices (with Fire OS 6 or later)
Update: On your Amazon Fire TV, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for System Update.
Android phone or tablet
- Most Android phones and tablets (with Android OS 7.1 or later)
Update: On your Android phone or tablet, open Settings, then go to System > System update.
Android TV
- Android TV devices (with Android OS 7.1 or later)
Update: On your Android TV, go to Settings > System > About > System update > Check for update.
Apple TV
- Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD (with tvOS 16 or later)
Update: On your Apple TV, go to Settings > System > Software updates > Update Software.
iOS phone or tablet
- Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch (with iOS 16 or later)
Update: On your iOS phone or tablet, open Settings, then go to General > Software update.
LG TV
- LG Smart TV (with webOS 3.5 or later)
Update: Press the Settings button on your LG remote, then choose All Settings > General > About this TV > Check for updates.
Roku
- Most Roku TV and streaming players (with Roku OS 14 or later)
Update: On your Roku, go to Settings > System > System update > Check now. This will install software updates for your Roku streaming device and your channels.
Samsung TV
- Samsung TV (2016 models and later)
Update: Press the Home button on your remote, then go to Settings (gear icon) > Support > Software Updates > Update now.
VIZIO Smart TV
- VIZIO Smart TV (2016 models and later)
Update: On your VIZIO TV remote, press the Menu button (Gear icon), then choose System > Check for Updates.
Xbox
- Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S
Update: On your Xbox, go to Profile & System > Settings > System > Updates.
